What is a Republican's definition of what is or is not considered trustworthy?
According to the Oxford Dictionary, Trustworthy means Able to be relied on as honest or truthful: leave a spare key with a trustworthy neighbour.
Hmmmm! Sure dont't sound like most Republicans, considering how many lies they and the media spread!
Saw a news story featuring Sen. Lindsey Graham and his thoughts on today’s Republican party and his feeling Hillary is Untrustworthy. Following are some of the things, in the story.
WASHINGTON — Sen. Lindsey Graham is disgusted with the GOP's embrace of Donald Trump: "My party has gone bats*** crazy."
In no-holds-barred remarks at a celebratory dinner Thursday night, the South Carolina senator and unsuccessful presidential candidate said the GOP has lost all semblance of sanity and predicted the party will suffer irrevocable losses in November if it backs Trump
Graham said the GOP has its best chance in years to win as Democrats are likely to nominate Hillary Clinton, who has been damaged by questions about her trustworthiness. But his party is about to blow it, he said.
"The most dishonest person in America is a woman, who's about to become president. How could that be? My party has gone bats*** crazy," Graham said.
Seems he figures too the Republican party has gone “bat shit crazy”.
Reading from notes, Graham said, "I was asked the hardest question of my political life. Do you agree with Donald Trump that Ted Cruz is the biggest liar in politics? Too close to call."
Graham called 44-year-old Florida Sen. Marco Rubio "boy wonder" and suggested he was politically malleable.
"I'm not saying he would change his positions, but he would change his positions," said Graham, who worked with Rubio on a sweeping immigration bill on which the presidential candidate has backtracked.
Graham then pulled out a white baseball cap emblazoned with Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan and endorsed the New Yorker.
"I endorse Donald Trump and hope the Graham magic still exists," he said
What exactly is the Graham magic?
Republicans call Hillary untrustworthy, but then how trustworthy are they? Haven't they been proving all along, in the last few decades just how untrustworthy they are? Haven't they been promoting obstructionism all along, instead of partisanship, working for the betterment of the people? Do you call that trustworthy?
Their constituents elect them to do their legislative job working to pass bills, which will help them. They didn't pay them to waste what little time they do work, starting umpteen investigations or committees, to look into just how untrustworthy Hillary is or whether or not Planned Parenthood is using federal dollars to do abortions or sell baby partsfor profit!
Just how trustworthy are they, when they go out of their way to film, document and then spread videos supposedly showing Planned Parenthood harvesting and selling “baby parts” for profit? Even when the videos were proven bogus, they and the media keep the videos out their hoping if they keep talking about how awful the videos are, it will somehow make them true!
Even when Carly Fiorina's bogus video was proven not true, she still went out there, during her campaign, acting as if it, and the other videos, were true. She would not admit the videos were not true. Just how trustworthy is someone, who would do something like this, plus lie about it?
How much time do they waste taking votes on defunding Obamacare and Planned Parenthood, when they know good and well President Obama will veto it? How much time do they waste digging and digging and digging to find something they can pin on Hillary, to try to prove how untrustworthy she is? Haven't they investigated Benghazi over 8 times now, trying to pin something on Hillary to prove how untrustworthy she is? Aren't they proving how untrustworthy they are by doing all of this?
Then there is their constituent's tax money they have continued to waste paying for all these investigations. Just how many billions have they spent on all of this, plus shutting down the government, instead of doing the job they were elected to do, passing legislation, to help their constituents?
Do their constituents want them to defund or dismantle Obamacare, when so many millions have now gotten medical insurance for the first time? Do the Republicans care how many of their constituents die, for lack of Medical care, by refusing to expand Medicaid? Do the Republicans care how many of their constituents have to file bankruptcy and lose everything they worked so hard all their life, to achieve, just because Republicans have it in for President Obama? Do they care if their constituents are stuck with millions of dollars worth of medical bills because they reached the life time max and the insurance don't pay any more? How many of their constituents lose coverage because of Pre-Existing conditions?
Do the Republicans care how many hospitals have to file bankruptcy or close because so many people can no longer pay their bills, because Republican governors refuse to accept Medicaid expansion?Many hospitals, which end up with so many unpaid Emergency Room bills as a result of people who do not have health insurance end up closing, even though they are in an area, which now don't have a hospital anywhere near them.
How many lies do they and the media spread about President Obama, trying to get their constituents to hate him, when him and the Democrats have done so much for them, to make their lives better? Does spreading a bunch of lies make the Republicans more trustworthy than Hillary?
Seems to me lying doesn’t make you Trustworthy, especially when you keep lying and not admitting you are lying. Just because someone has health insurance, why do they want to deprive those who couldn’t afford it, get it? Many would like to see Obamacare defunded or dismantled, with no consideration what so ever of those who really need it.
