Need to increase your followers on Social Media? Speaking of all things FAKE , NOW YOU CAN! Fool people into thinking you are popular! Now you can do that by purchasing followers for your Twitter and other Social Media accounts! It doesn’t even cost that much!

But how can this be, you might ask in this world of Drumpf’s FAKE news outcries when the media accidentally on purpose exposes the truth as compared to our fearless leader’s lies?

A company has been found to actually exist where you are able to do that and purchase as many followers as you want depending on how much money you want to spend!  In these times of the Russians flooding Social Media platforms with fake comments does it surprise anyone that this actually happens in other instances, such as the number of followers someone has?

According to the Times report, Devumi has sold legions of fake followers that in some cases are similar to the accounts of real people. The company also sells Soundcloud listeners, LinkedIn connections and YouTube shares and likes.

Federal and state authorities are investigating the sellers of
artificial followers and other fraudulent social media engagement.

What with the Russian trolls & bots able to post FAKE comments and FAKE news stories on Twitter, Facebook, and other Social Media just adds to my reluctance to get involved with it. I watch the news stories coming through on my MSN homepage and all the cyberbullying and people causing others to commit suicide plus I just do not have the time to follow all of that stuff.

I saw this on the news a day or 2 ago which just adds another disappointment to me in the worth of Social Media. Maybe it’s because I am a “Baby Boomer” and just do not get into or want to get into the flood of people using Social Media but then when I see things happening, I have to wonder if it’s worth it!

Maybe it’s because since I am a writer of sorts, I cannot limit myself to a certain number of characters and add a blurp here and there. I guess I get too wordy and it is difficult for me to condense everything down into just a few words. I like to describe things so Twitter does not really work for me and when using Facebook I don’t constantly post pictures and have no interest in looking at the pictures others post of their family and friends who I do not even know or would recognize.

Since I am trying to publish books I am writing, it was suggested I advertise on Facebook. I am a baby boomer and not at all enthused about Facebook since I never grew up with it or know how to use it. I know there are a lot of things you can do with it, but I am just not familiar with many of them.

Originally, I accepted all friends requests but then ended up with numerous emails notifying me that someone posted something. I am lucky to have G-Mail which weeds out the Spam into a special folder. It also categorizes Regular email, Social email, and Promotional email.

I finally figured out how to go in and change the settings so I only get the email from certain people so I am not bombarded with so many emails. Many of the social and promotion emails I highlight all of them and then delete them since there is really nothing in there I want to look at.
