BETTENDORF, Iowa Isn’t it fun to hear all the lies Ted Cruz loves to spout, when he stops somewhere on his campaign trail. I am glad he told us that it isn’t the "Rethug’s War on Women”, it’s those damn Democrats “War on Women"and of course the Rethugs aren’t the ones trying to defund Planned Parenthood of their work providing birth control, family planning, screenings for serious diseases, cancers, stds etc.

The idea that Republicans are anti-contraception is nonsense, Cruz added.
“Heidi and I, we have two little girls. I’m very glad we don’t have 17,” Cruz said with a laugh. “And it’s a great example when the war on women came up, Republicans would curl up in a ball, they’d say, 'Don’t hurt me. Jiminy Cricket!'”
No they don’t want to ban contraceptives, they just want to defund Planned Parenthood, who provides the contraceptives, family planning, screening for serious diseases and STD’s etc. They also want to make exceptions, so Corporations, who have sincerely held religious beliefs, don’t have to provide contraception to their female employees. Seems to me, the Rethugs are trying to control women’s bodies with all of this.
When a voter asked the Texas senator about his thoughts on “making contraception available to women who want to control their own bodies,” he responded by railing against what he called the Democratic Party’s “war on women,” and the “completely made-up threat” of the “condom police.”

Ninety-one percent of Americans say that’s nuts. So what do they do? They try to shift it.'The war on women wasn’t that, it was contraceptives.' Now listen, I have been a conservative my entire life. f you don’t want to ban contraceptives, why are you trying to make it more and more difficult for Planned Parenthood to reach low income women, men and even children, to help them make serious decisions about preventing unwanted pregnancies, so there would be less demand for abortions. Oh! By the way! In case you haven’t taken notice of the states, who have already investigated Planned Parenthood, they have found no funds have been used for abortions and their Planned Parenthood Clinics DO NOT DEAL IN “BABY PARTS”, FOR PROFIT! Of course the Rethugs say they are spending a lot of Federal money on abortions, so it has to be true. Rethugs always tell the truth don cha know!
Also how about companies, like Hobby Lobby and others trying to get out of paying for birth control, claiming it is against their sincerely held religious beliefs? Isn’t it the Rethugs, who are encouraging companies to claim they should be able to deny coverage for birth control, even though Obamacare mandates it, because after all they say they are a person, so the should be able to do that!

“Last I checked, we don’t have a rubber shortage in America,” Cruz said. “When I was in college we had a machine in the bathroom, you put 50 cents in and voila! So yes, anyone who wants contraceptives can access them, but it’s an utterly made-up nonsense issue."
Cruz blamed Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton for the issue's prominence, claiming she is trying to “scare a bunch of folks into thinking someone is going to steal their birth control” to distract from other policy issues.
In case Mr Cruz forgot, it isn't about putting condom machines in college dorm bathrooms, it is about trying to control a woman’s access to birth control, not the access to condoms. Knowing that only a few of Planned Parenthood Clinics perform abortions and that it is less than 3% of their services and they do not use Federal funds pay for it. They have other donations, which pay for the service.
The Rethugs still want to defund Planned Parenthood, trying to keep the debunked videos out there and constantly encouraging lone wolf attacks on Planned Parenthood clinics, all the while denying they are encouraging lone wolf attacks. Even though the videos have been debunked, the Rethugs won’t admit it, they are just hoping the voters will believe them and not question it, if they say it enough. Their thoughts are, “if you keep repeating a lie long enough and get the media to keep repeating it, it actually becomes truth!”
Rethugs trying to defund Planned Parenthood is limiting poor people’s access to birth control, family planning and the other services they provide to screen people, for serious diseases and STD’s. Many of the clinics are in areas, where there are no other medical facilities near by, who perform the same services. The emphasis on the abortions and the “selling oF baby parts” is just a front, to cut poor people’s access to healthcare.
“Imagine for a second you’re Hillary Clinton,”Cruz explained. “You’re trying to think, 'How do I run?' Well you can’t run on the economy, because we have the lowest percentage of Americans working any year since 1977. You can’t run on Obamacare, because millions of people have lost their jobs, lost their health care, lost their doctors, seen their premiums skyrocket. You certainly can’t run on foreign policy, 'cause every country you touched as secretary of state is a disaster.”So, Hillary’s Secretary of State experience isn’t going to help her.
I guess he don’t remember the respect she got from the different countries she had visited. Personally I think this is one of the biggest things she has going for her, because she has many of the countries, who already trust and respect her. She already has her foot in the door and once she is President, she will be able to build on the rapport, she already has with them.
I guess they don't count all the jobs, which were added, since the great recession, in 2008, when many of the jobs were lost because of the near Financial Market Meltdown, caused by the Bush Administration. Most of the current jobs were added because of the work, of the Democrats!
