Who would they get to watch the other clowns debate each other? None of the Rethugs have anything constructive to say, just keep shouting about all the things they are going to do, when they become president, thinking they have the power to make any and all changes themselves. Of course maybe they think of themselves as a dictator and don't need to work with anyone else, because they are always right.
Look at how much trouble President Obama had trying to get things passed, with a Rethug House & Senate, who were more concerned with tearing good things apart, rather than working with the Democrats to "tweak" the flaws in Obamacare and make it even better to even more people, but their response is to tear it down and start all over.
How many other things did President Obama want to accomplish, but the Rethugs fought him all the way, with their continual obstructional tactics, keeping anything from getting accomplished. How much time and TAX PAYER'S MONEY, did they spend with their investigations, commissions and lawsuits?
Of course then you have the Tea Bags taking over the Rethug party and trying to dismantle everything, figuring the poor are just gaming the system, and taking advantage of all those social programs and food stamps. Of course all of the "Corporate Welfare Queens", are doing us good. Look at all the jobs they are creating.
They need tax breaks, so they can create jobs, of course they will be overseas and don't forget about buying up a foreign competitor and moving their headquarters over there, so they can still take advantage of the tax breaks, of the United States, while not paying their fair share of taxes and expecting the rest of us to shoulder the burden.
Who knows what would happen, with a Rethug house and Senate, plus a Rethug President, just think of the shit, which could be passed, if the Democrats don't have the votes to block them.
