I was saddened, when Democratic candidates did not publicize the President's many accomplishments

The Democrats should have been "blowing their own horn" as loudly and as often as they could, embracing President Obama, by reminding people of all the positive things President Obama accomplished, which the Rethugs fought hard against.

Didn't look good that few seemed to praise Obama, but instead proclaimed they were not Obama, when running their campaigns. Allison Lundgren-Grimes should have pushed more of the things, which Obama was able to enact, which the Rethugs voted against.

She could have emphasized people who are now able to quit their job and start their own business, because now they don't have to get a job or have their spouse get a job, so they have Health Insurance.  Now they can pursue their entrepreneurial ideas, because they are able to get health insurance, which in turn may end up creating more jobs, with the business they started. By quitting their old job, it opens up another job, for someone else, when they quit.

Would have been nice, if she would have admitted she voted for Obama, because she knew he would accomplish a lot of good things for the country, instead of letting the "Turtle" cut her down, because she emphasized  "she was not in Obama's pocket".

Of course you get the fact people bitch & bellyache about what the Rethugs are doing, but then don't get out to vote, just assume their vote won't count.  You would think all the nasty antics the Rethugs pulled, would have gotten them out in massive numbers, to make sure they were pushed out of office!

People congratulate the Rethugs, for standing up to Obama, by "SHUTTING DOWN THE GOVERNMENT", but then forget about all the Tax Payer money it cost the American people.  They don't seem to see all the "TAXPAYER MONEY" the Rethugs wasted, with frivolous lawsuits, trying to sue the president for something they wanted in the beginning, but now don't want, because it means giving President Obama credit for something.

Also they want Obamacare repealed, but don't stop to think of all the benefits they have enjoyed since the ACA took effect.  Some of the things, like Insurance Companies not being able to cancel your policy, Pre-Existing no longer matters, because they have to accept all pre-existing conditions.  There is no maximum, so now Insurance Companies can't cancel you, for reaching your lifetime Maximum.  Students being able to stay on their parents policy until age 24.

There are many things, which Obamacare changed, which made it better, for the average person, so Democratic candidates should have been emphasizing all these accomplishments, which President Obama made, which the Rethugs worked hard to keep from going into effect.

Also, do they realize how many people would lose the Medical Insurance, they were finally able to get?  How many hospitals are now showing a profit, instead of having to write off so much, from people using the Emergency Room, because they have no insurance, then not being able to pay?

Of course Obamacare is not the cure-all, for everyone and some people may be adversely affected, by ending up losing doctors they have been seeing or having to pay more out of pocket.  There are far more people it has helped, than it has harmed.  The positive far outweighs the negative.  Nothing is absolutely perfect.

How many people have had to file bankruptcy, because of Medical bills incurred, because they had no medical insurance or were canceled because of pre-existing condition or reaching their lifetime max. How many hospitals had to file bankruptcy or even close, because of all the uninsured people using the emergency room, who could not pay.  Before the ACA, they had to write millions off, as uncollectible.

Since providers and hospitals have less money they have to "write off", they no longer have the "excuse for raising their rates" because so many people without insurance don't pay. If hospitals are charging less, then Insurance Companies are paying out less and have one less excuse to raise their premiums.

Then you have the Rethug governors of states, who would not accept the money, for Medicaid expansion.  They are then denying hundreds of thousands of people the medical care they need, so these people end up using the hospital emergency room, for their medical care.  If they have no medical insurance, both the hospital and the people run the risk of having to file for medical bankruptcy.

People also did not seem to realize how the Rethugs were pushing to deny as many people the opportunity to vote, which is our constitutional right, by not only demanding photo ID, but then demanding several different forms of proof, in order to get that ID.

Think Texas and the types of ID they demanded and the proof they wanted in order to let anyone vote, which is their constitutional right.  Pushing for VOTER ID, in essence is denying the right to vote for the poor, African American, Latinos, elderly, disabled and anyone, who is not able to get or it is an extreme hardship to get, a photo ID.  That alone should have said something about how good the Rethugs are.

The Rethugs claim they are preventing voter fraud, but isn't it worse than voter fraud, when you are doing everything you can to deny someone the right to vote, mainly because they may vote democratic?  It is one thing, to encourage picture ID, to vote, but quite another to  demand it and do everything you can, to prevent someone from voting.

Also the fact that misinformation was mailed out, in the Carolinas, giving people the wrong information about voting, but making it look legitimate and confusing people.

Also the shit "Turle's" campaign sent out, making it look legitimate, scaring people, basically warning them against voting for Allison Lundgren-Grimes, trying to say she was spreading lies, when it is him, who was spreading lies.

Whomever was responsible for sending out all this misinformation should be sued for trying to keep people from voting.  Rethugs talk about "Voter Fraud", when wanting people to show photo ID, in order to vote, but isn't it a form of Voter Fraud, which they are doing, by trying to deny citizens the right to vote?

I too am disappointed that more Democratic candidates didn't embrace President Obama and shout his accomplishments to the rooftops and emphasize how the Rethugs fought against everything good he accomplished.

It's a combination of the 2, Democratic candidates who did not embrace and shout out all the President's good accomplishments and the fact people only want to vote, when the election is for a President.
